MAKOS OPEN NSAC CONFERENCE PLAY TODAY!

PEARL RIVER, LA – October 24, 2026 – IT'S GAME DAY!!! The Lighthouse Christian College Makos return to action today as they open New South Athletic Conference (NSAC) South Division play against the Westgate Christian University Ravens. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM (Central Time) at Pearl River High School in Pearl River, Louisiana.

Today's matchup is a crucial early-season South Division showdown, with both teams looking to establish themselves in the conference championship race.

Although the game will be played in Louisiana, Lighthouse will remain the designated home team. The contest was relocated to Pearl River High School following extensive damage to the Makos' home football field, locker room facilities, and surrounding athletic complex caused by Hurricane Isaias.

A RIVALRY RENEWED!

The Makos and Ravens are no strangers to exciting football. Last season, Lighthouse traveled to Houston, Texas, and came away with a thrilling 35–28 double-overtime victory over Westgate.

That unforgettable contest gave Lighthouse a 1–0 advantage in the young series. The Ravens will be looking to even the series today, while the Makos hope to make it two straight victories over their conference rivals.

With conference standings and South Division positioning on the line, today's matchup promises to be another exciting chapter in this developing rivalry.

The Makos will also be playing their first game since October 3, following the disruption caused by Hurricane Isaias. After overcoming significant challenges and relocating their home game, Lighthouse is eager to get back on the field and compete.
