ACADEMIC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK ANNOUNCED

Lighthouse Christian College is proud to recognize the academic achievements of its student-athletes through the Academic Players of the Week program.

Each week, the Lighthouse staff will recognize one offensive player, one defensive player, and one special teams player for their dedication and hard work in the classroom.

As a small token of appreciation for their commitment to academic excellence, each weekly honoree will receive a gift card to an area restaurant, providing the student-athlete with an opportunity to enjoy a meal on us.

The recognition will continue throughout the season, with each weekly winner being announced and featured on the Lighthouse Christian College website as part of our weekly news coverage.

At the conclusion of the final week of practice, all weekly winners will have their names entered into a drawing. Head Coach Dave Wilson will draw one name, and that student-athlete will receive a $150 gift card.

The Academic Players of the Week program is another way Lighthouse Christian College celebrates the importance of balancing success on the field with excellence in the classroom.

We congratulate all of our student-athletes for their continued dedication and hard work, and we look forward to recognizing those who go above and beyond academically throughout the season.
